You can register now to the first edition of "Chess For Haiti", the digital chess tournament that supports the social project Rise Haiti.
Rise Haiti is a student-run project launched by HSG students in 2012 and aims to improve the living and learning environment of Haitian children through education.
For a modest CHF 10 registration fee, you will contribute to a better future for Haitian children and be able to win an amazing prize of 100 CHF!
More details & technical information:
The tournament will take place virtually the weeks of the 10th of May (group stage) and the 17th of May (final stage)
Games will take place on the chess.com platform (please create an account if you don't have one – it's free)
Groups of 4 or 5 people will be created. Players will play against each other. A player wins against another one once he reaches two wins
The first 2 players of each group will access the final stage
WhatsApp groups will be created to coordinate the schedule of the games (and give flexibility to the players)
Format of the game: 10min (each player)
